How to do the Marathon des Sables

"The Seminar should be a key part of MdS pre-event preparation. I would highly recommend the seminar to any aspiring MdS runner - it is the perfect forum in which to have questions solved and morale boosted." Angus Marshall-Andrew (Completed MdS in 2004)

In 2008 or 2009 you will be among several hundred runners competing in an international field of 800+ in the Marathon des Sables, the legendary 150-mile stage race held in the Sahara Desert every year. Carrying all your own kit over 7 days, you will run through some of the harshest terrain imaginable in temperatures of up to 50 degrees Celsius.

This successful seminar has been attended by hundreds of runners over the last five years and gives you all the essential advice, tips, and suggestions on how to prepare for the "Toughest Footrace on Earth". This will include talks and Q&As from experts on nutrition, training, equipment, injury prevention, charity fundraising, and general Q&As with previous competitors.
